  4. I know a guy who has about 12-15 or so panels that are that size and he runs a recording studio in his house..he’s had the same set-up for like 15 years. I think when you decide to go off the grid you start to do a lot more things efficiently because you realize how much energy everything uses.. I bet in most case it would pay itself off in less then 10 years… government incentives and what not.. do it.. do it..

  36. best vid I’ve seen yet, I always wanted to see the panels run something directly, without going throught a battery bank…harbor freight has a sale on these right now, I have a motor home..11 miles from the nearest power, and only need these to run a few small lights…im making a dolly that will turn 70 degrees, to constantly point into optimum sunlight.

  42. I have a 50 watt panel and a deep cycle marine battery running my routers, switch, and two small NAS devices. I plan to power my vonage adaptor and cordless phone too, but I have to build another voltage regulator for those, as they’re 9 volt devices. Who needs A/C? 🙂

  44. Dan they are advertizing these for $149 harbour freight is that a god deal would you pop on that? IDK if they may have come up with a new invention in solar that would make these obsolete. I was thinking this trio could power my little camper and I could go out there and enjoy my dog house.
